Kimberly Benson has over twenty-five years of experience in environmental science, education, advocacy, and community engagement. She is dedicated to promoting holistic earthcare through reintegration with the natural world and healing relationships among people and with other life: past, present, and future. As the General Manager of the Friends Wilderness Center (FWC), Kimberly resides at FWC and works part-time in service to the organization’s vision: to inspire holistic Earth care, effect spiritual and physical renewal, and nurture caring relationships among all people, including those who came before and those who will come after. FWC strives to infuse the spiritual practices and values of the Society of Friends in a physical retreat center that welcomes all who seek respite, peace, and healing in nature.
