
Yingjie Shu is a Partner at Kailasa Capital Management, where she advises individuals, families, and business owners on investment strategies and wealth management.
Prior to becoming a financial advisor, Yingjie served as Senior Vice President at U.S. News & World Report. She began her career there as the lead software engineer for the widely recognized America’s Best Colleges rankings. Over time, she advanced into a leadership role, providing strategic guidance and roadmap for the Technology Department. She played a key role in the organization’s successful transition from a print magazine to a digital media company.
In collaboration with local volunteers, Yingjie led a successful fundraising initiative in 2024 for China Folk House. The funds supported the completion of the visitor center and bringing electricity to the site. She is currently involved in a new fundraising effort to establish a China Folk House scholarship.
Yingjie is a graduate of Peking University and a member of Pi Beta Phi. Her professional interests include investing, innovative technologies, and strategic partnerships.
In her spare time, she enjoys yoga, paddleboarding, and cycling.
